Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in a Gift of the Grid. By engaging with this offering, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Refund Policy

All purchases are non-refundable after the transaction is completed.

​

2. Usage Rights

Clients are granted permission to use the deliverables solely for display purposes. Editing, monetisation, minting as an NFT, or selling any work without prior written consent from the artist is strictly prohibited.

​

3. Credit Requirement

Any display or reproduction of the work must include proper credit. This credit should feature one of the following: “Sophia Hotung,” "@sophiahotung" or "www.sophiahotung.com".

4. Ownership Rights

The artist retains all ownership rights to all works and drafts produced, regardless of their use by the client.

​

5. Termination Clause

The artist reserves the right to cancel services at any time, in which case a full refund for projects not yet started or 20% refund for semi-completed projects will be issued to the client.

​

6. Limitations

The artist does not accept commissions or create artworks in the style of "The Hong Konger" or "Choreopolis."

​

7. Requests for Alternations and/or Edits

The artist will aim to incorporate requests that stray from a standard photo recreation but cannot guarantee that all requests will be incorporated. The artist reserves the right not to make edits after delivering the final file. Should the artist agree to make edits after delivering the final file, the client agrees to an hourly compensation rate of HK$1,000.

8. Timeline

Each commission usually takes between 3 and 6 weeks. You will receive updates by email on the timeline.

9. Printing

The fee and project does not include printing. Printing and framing can be arranged for an additional HK$1,000 through The Lion Rock Press. Other local printers we can recommend include: Hong Kong Imaging, Spectrart, and the Hong Kong Arts Collective.
