Hong Kong-themed literary gift cards

Created on commission for Bookazine, Hong Kong leading's English-language bookseller, this project involved creating a gift card design inspired by a love for both reading and Hong Kong.
I called this design "Book Borrowers", a pun on the novel 'The Borrowers' and library activities. In the artwork, construction workers scale a bookshelf on quintessentially Hong Kong bamboo scaffolding. We developed the artwork into a few different colour concepts, inevitably landing on red and purple for the gift cards.
The artwork was delivered in SVG vector, rasterised PNG, and Photoshop PSD formats.
